What is ENGINE and Engine types

  

 

Today we will discuss about engine and types of engine used in automobile. Any device which can able to convert heat energy of fuel into mechanical energy is Called Engine. Engine Wide used in automobile Industries.

Types of Engines.

Basically engine may be classified into two types.

1.E.C Engine........!

It is an engine which combination of fuel take place outside of engine. In this type of engine heat, which is generated by burning of fuel is use to convert the water or other low boiling temp fluid into steam. This high pressure steam used to rotate a motor. In this type of Engine we use all types fuels like liquid and gases etc.

2. I.C Engine 

 

It is an engine in which combination of fuel take place inside the engine. When the fuel burns inside the engine cylinder, it generates a high temp and pressure. This high pressure force is exerted on the piston which use for moving a motor inside Engine. In these type of engines we can use only gases. This type of engine commonly used in automobile Industries for generating electrical power in cars.
